Ever asked for a menu and received a QR code instead? Develop skills for the practical applications of different technology resources in our daily lives, like signing up for the discounts using in-store apps, scanning a QR code in a restaurant and more!  Please bring your smartphone to class.

Magdalena Hogan

Maggie has been teaching with Saint Paul Community Education since 2007. A self-proclaimed “practical geek”,she likes to make computers and devices accessible to the everyday person. She believes that with an understanding of how something works, it makes interacting with it a much better experience. Maggie has over 20 years of experience working with computers/electronics with roles ranging from the dedicated IT manager for a single company to consulting for different companies/individuals. More than anything, she is a teacher first. Her goal is for every student to leave her class with at least a few pearls and the confidence to really use their device.
