Philosophy: The Problem of Evil

Classes for Adults / Special Topics & Events -
Spring 2024- Adult

In philosophy, the problem of evil represents rational inquiry as to how an all-powerful, all-good entity could allow for the existence of evil in the world. This rigorous academic course for theists and non-theists alike will consider historical and contemporary formulations of the problem of evil from multiple religious and philosophical perspectives. No prior experience in philosophy is necessary; all are welcome in this collaborative and analytical environment, with beginners especially encouraged.

All the required texts for class will be distributed weekly via e-mail as PDFs free to all participants.
